1. Log in to Google

  • Go to your DRIVE
  • Click CREATE
  • Click DOCUMENT
  • Title your new document the name of your poem
  • Then SHARE IT WITH ME!! at tconstantine@hcs-students.net


 now type your poem, if you do not have all of your poem memorized type what you can then you can let me know and go to the room and get yours or open up the document with all of the poems on December links.

Make sure and type FOR KIDS, and find a good picture to add to your poem AFTER YOU TYPE IT.

Type your name at the bottom.

Print and give to me.

Go ahead and start a Power Point in google, Name the first slide THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR, choose a background (needs to look like a news article from long ago, and share it with me. Title your Power Point with your name and "The Revolutionary War"

Delete the old ones, then open the new one and click file make a copy, then change the name of your file by changing the word COPY to your name. Then share it with tconstantine@hcs-students.net.

Hi Everyone, I hope you are all doing your best work and being good for the substitute. For content time today, we are going to dig deeper into the 13 colonies and become experts on one of the regions. You will only complete PART 1 of the web quest on the link below and you will work by yourself. We know enough about the colonies now that you CAN do this alone. Your substitute will give you the sheet that you need to write your research on. Remember, only do PART 1 and have fun being a historian!

2. Open your Gmail. You should have an email from me where I shared the Document THEN NOW with you. You will not be able to type on this one since I need everyone to type on their own page. Ok, this is how you will do that.




  • Open the Then Now document I emailed you.
  • Click on FILE then click MAKE A COPY.
  • Now go back to your drive and open the copy, this is the one you can type on. Fill in the THEN NOW chart.
  • Type your name into the title, for example mine would be Mrs. C copy of Then Now
  • Share your document with me. Click SHARE, and in the INVITE PEOPLE box type, or copy and paste my google email tconstantine@hcs-students.net
  • Make sure the CAN EDIT to the right of my email stays selected.
  • Click DONE
  • Congratulations, now you know how to share a google doc!

Geometry Scavenger Hunt


Geometry Scavenger Hunt

Objective:
You are on an internet scavenger hunt looking for Geometry.  You will complete this project with a partner. You will find photos on the internet of these shapes in the real world and add the photos to your Power Point. At the conclusion of your search, you will present your findings in the form of a power point presentation on your nook.
 Guidelines:
·        Only one geometry object per slide.
·        Objects must be appropriately LABELED!
·        Include the mathematical definition of each object on your slide. (Get definitions from Google)
·        Don’t forget a cover slide with team members’ names. Once complete, you should have seven slides.
·        Each image captured may be used only ONCE. For example, if you get a picture of something that represents a square, you cannot use it again to represent a quadrilateral. You must find a second image.
·        Both partners must participate in the hunt and presentation. This is a team effort!
