Week 1

  1.  Open Microsoft Word and type a 10 list about what you love and your favorite things. Title it: The Top 10 Things About (your name) Save it in your "My Work" folder and then print it!
  2. Go to this form and fill it out completely. Make sure and click submit when you are done.

Directions:


You are on a scavenger hunt looking for Geometry at SSC. You will complete this project with a partner. Open a new tab,  Go to the web site above, and add photos according to the directions above to your Power Point. At the conclusion of your search, you will present your findings in the form of a power point presentation. SAVE YOU POWER POINT in the p drive>constantine>constantinestudentfolders>1 geometry powerpoints  THE file name should be your names.

Guidelines:

• Only one geometry object per slide.

• Objects must be appropriately LABELED!

• Include the mathematical definition of each object on your slide.

• Don’t forget a cover slide with team members’ names. Once complete, you should have seven slides.

• Each image captured may be used only ONCE. For example, if you take a picture of something that represents a square, you cannot use it again to represent a quadrilateral. You must find a second image.

• Both partners must participate in the hunt and presentation. This is a team effort!

What to Collect:

 Data Collection Project directions

1. Type your jokes and answers, and your book buddies jokes and answers on a Microsoft Word document. Make sure you put your name and your book buddies name at the top of the page, remember, no last names. Add one clip art picture. Save in your "My Work" Folder. Then print your page and bring it to me.

2. Go to Edmodo click on Social Science Cyber Kids, then click on "Our Polls and Surveys". Make your vote on the poll!  If you are in the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Book Club, come get the Edmodo code for the group from me!!

3. Take your multiplication quiz for April, make sure and type your name and turn in to me.

4. Click on Scholastic Student on your desktop, then go to Fast Math and log in. Follow the directions.

5. Make a blog post about your favorite thing that you did for Spring Break.

Every Week do this FIRST in order:

2. Blog your Mad Lib on Edmodo, look at my example!!
3. Can you solve a mystery?? Read this story and see if you can solve the mystery!! When you are done, go to Edmodo and turn in your answer.


When you get done with the above each week, THEN each of these one time:



2. Look at ALL of these links on Landforms.

3. Click on this link, then log into United Streaming and watch the video on Martin Luther King Jr. Then title a blog post Martin Luther King Jr. and write at least 3 sentences about what you learned. Then write one sentence about how you felt about his childhood and one sentence about how you felt about him as an adult.

If you do not have a computer at home and have not finished your assignments from last week on Pearson and Spelling City , do those first. 




Every Week do this FIRST:
1. Blog about something you are interested in!! Have fun and here are some ideas: http://constantinekids.wiki.hoover.k12.al.us/Our+Blogs , re-read and correct before posting! Read posts from 3 of your classmates (it can be me too!!), make a nice, positive, acceptable for school comment  on each one that you read. It needs to be at least one complete,  correct sentence:)
2. Log into Spelling City, and do your first 2 activities.

Go to our Tennessee Aquarium Page and put a sticky note about your favorite part of the trip!

When you get done with the above each week, THEN do any of these but just once:


Change your profile picture if you want, directions are on the Social Science group in Edmodo.


 Listen to and read The Respectful Prince and the Dwarfs When you are finished, go to your blog, Type the title, and post the moral or lesson of this story.
