November 18th

1. Take this division quiz, put your name and number, print out and bring to me when you are done.

2. Open your Gmail. You should have an email from me where I shared the Document THEN NOW with you. You will not be able to type on this one since I need everyone to type on their own page. Ok, this is how you will do that.

• Open the Then Now document I emailed you.
• Click on FILE then click MAKE A COPY.
• Now go back to your drive and open the copy, this is the one you can type on. Fill in the THEN NOW chart.
• Type your name into the title, for example mine would be Mrs. C copy of Then Now
• Share your document with me. Click SHARE, and in the INVITE PEOPLE box type, or copy and paste my google email tconstantine@hcs-students.net
• Make sure the CAN EDIT to the right of my email stays selected.
• Click DONE
• Congratulations, now you know how to share a google doc!

November 4th

2. Log into voki.com and start making your voki. Remember to publish when you are finished and name it with your Explorer's last name and your first name.

3. Do this when I let you know we are ready: Sign in to your Google account go to your mail. I shared a document with you. Open the document, read the directions, and complete the assignment. Then you can come back and finish 1 and 2.

October 14

1. Do you know your 7's? Click here and see. Print and give to me when you are done. If you get 100 in 3 minutes or less, go on to number 2. If not go to 7's on math magician and show me your screen when you get 100 on 7's.

2. Log in to IXL, Click level F and do A1, A2, A3 and A5

3. Go to the Typing Club and get going on learning to type correctly!!!

4. Do not do this until I tell you, we are doing this one together. Go to Google and log in with your username and password.  We are just making sure we can log in today. Once you have logged in fill out this form, type in your email carefully!!!

2. Review what we learned about similes by watching this brainpop video, you will also learn about something called metaphors that are like similes. See if you can find out how metaphors are different than similes.

Now Play Fling the teacher and see if you can tell the difference in a Simile and a Metaphor, remember a Simile uses like or as to compare 2 things, and a metaphor compares 2 things without using like or as.
